First time! 2007

Number of employees: 10

Company Interests:
Cell Impact offers customised flow plates for mass production of fuel cells and heat exchangers. Cell Impact offer true mass production of key components in the fuel cell system.
The first fully automated production plant has been set up for production in Cell Impacts work shop in Karlskoga, Sweden. Our customers are producers of fuel cell systems or heat exchangers. Cell Impact offers manufacturing of plates according to the design by the customer. We also offer cooperation with fuel cell manufactures and partners to optimize flow plate design. Cell Impact is a part of the expanding Swedish group Morphic Technologies AB

News at HANNOVER MESSE 2007:
Cell Impact are the patent owner of a cutting edge manufacturing method that spaces material by using high kinetic energy also known as adiabatic softening.
Simplified, we can say that we hit the material so hard and so quickly that we shock it into becoming briefly liquid. Our machine has an enormous capacity, and in practice can hit as many as 3000 accurate blows per minute.
By taming the extreme force needed to achive adiabatic softening we are able to produce very thin plates with extremely fine patterns at the same time as quality is improved and production costs reduced

Cell Impact produces bipolar plates for fuel cells and flow field plates for heat exchangers. The manufacturing process allows highly detailed flow fields in a variety of materials and our machines has an enormous capacity, and in practice can hit as many as 3000 accurate blows per minute. Cell Impact is the patent owner of a unique manufacturing method that shapes materials by using high kinetic energy.
