Ready-to-use components for SOFC fuel cells
PLANSEE High-Performance-Materials, Austria has entered into an agreement with SULZER-Metco, Switzerland to develop and produce key components for SOFC fuel cells. The two companies hope the technologically sophisticated fuel cell components will soon be regarded as the industry standard.
The companies announced that they would both be investing in the further development of ready-to-use metallic high-temperature components for planar SOFC fuel cells. They intend to work closely together, in a partnership that will leverage the specialist competencies of both: PLANSEE s expertise in the manufacture of high-temperature metallic materials, and SULZER-Metco s knowledge of ceramic coatings.
