Company / Institution introduction:
BAXI INNOTECH was founded in 1999 under the name of european fuel cell gmbh (efc). Since August 2002 the company has been part of the British BAXI Group, Europeans third largest manufacture within the heating industry. The stated goal is the development of combined heat and power technologies, concentrating particularly on the effective deployment of fuel cell heating units for detached houses, as a product for the European market.

Products / Services on display at HANNOVER MESSE 2008:
Yet the results of the first field tests on our fuel cell heating units show us that we are heading towards an effective solution. The second generation, the BETA 1.5 PLUS series, has been completely re-engineered and operates with fewer components. The target is to gather further insights into its operational reliability, environmental compliance and efficient generation of energy under genuine operation conditions - insights that will contribute to the production of a long-lasting, reasonably-priced heating unit for a forward-looking European market.
