The focus of the Fraunhofer IKTS Dresden is on advanced materials, technologies and components from inorganic non-metallic systems: structural ceramics, functional ceramics, hard metals / hard materials - products and process innovation. One of the main areas is ceramic based energy technology - stationary SOFC / biogas and biofuels / CHP usage as well as ceramic micro-PEM fuel cells.
