Energy technology at IMM is mainly dealing with hydrogen processing and production from fossil and renewable energy sources. Besides the reactor construction for entire reformer systems this includes the development of components (heat exchangers, evaporators, condensers), system development and integration, construction and operation of pilot plants, sensor solutions, development of fabrication technologies and catalyst technology.
