Company / Institution introduction:
RESEARCH. The HIAT institute is focussing on the development and characterisation of fuel cell components (PEM) and small fuel cell systems. Our innovative research projects demonstrate our strong commitment in the emerging field of fuel cell technology.
INNOVATION. Within the last 7 years of work, the HIAT has already aquired several patents, which have been brought to the market successfully. Among others the quickCONNECT fixture – a revolutionary test cell system for professional characterisation of fuel cell components.
IMPLEMENTATION. Trough concrete, application-oriented research projects, novel materials and processes are being developed, which shall lead to ready-to-use knowledge. By close cooperation between science and industry, HIAT is responding directly to specific requirements of the future market »fuel cells«.
