sunfire represents the efficient future energy supply in a closed carbon cycle.
The objective of sunfire is to industrialize processes for the production of synthetic fuels and combustibles (Gasoline, Diesel and Methane among others)
- sustainable and carbon neutral
- from carbon dioxide, water and renewable energy
- economically feasible due to high process efficiency
- by using the existing infrastructure
thus enabling the recycling of large quantities of CO2 .
The process makes use of the high temperature electrolysis (SOEC) produce hydrogen which together with CO2 will be used for the synthesis of hydrocarbons.
In addition sunfire offers solutions for an efficient co-generation of electricity and heat based on the staxera fuel cell technology (SOFC).
