The Federation for Fuel Cell Research CNRS is a joint unit that gathers 90 people (researchers, PhD students, Post-Doc, engineers, technicians and administrative staff). The applications aimed by FCLAB are systems of energy generation or storage, either embedded (electric and hybrid vehicles, special or consumer vehicles) or stationary (decentralized hybrid supplies, storage plug of electrical energy).
FCLAB aims at conducting research in science and technology in these areas in the following topics in partnership with the industry:
• Experimental tests, modeling and emulation of fuel cell systems in extreme operating conditions,
• Conception, modeling and optimization of ad-hoc ancillaries of fuel cell systems (compressors, humidifiers, static converters,
   cooling, …),
• PHM (Prognostics & Health Management) and diagnostics of fuel cell systems
• Hybridization, control and system optimization of fuel cell systems
• Development of IT-SOFC core fuel cells and stack integration
• Electrolyzer based systems for electric energy storage as hydrogen-energy
• Social acceptability of Hydrogen-Energy technologies
