Giner ELX is a spin-off of Giner, Inc. Giner, Inc. is the world leader in electrochemistry having sold thousands of PEM electrolyzer stacks and systems to military and commercial customers. The company was founded in 1973 and has been profitable every year it has been in business.
Giner ELX continues this tradition.
Giner ELX has been awarded two DoE Merit Review Prizes, one in 2009 and one in 2011. This prestigious award is given to the company that makes the most significant contributions to the advancement of DoE’s missions and goals. The company is proud to supply the US nuclear submarine fleet with electrolyzers for producing oxygen for the crew to breath. These systems must operate flawlessly for the submarines to complete their long and dangerous missions.
Giner ELX has sold electrolyzer stacks and systems throughout the world.
Customers include Lockheed Martin, General Motors, NASA, Areva, Abengoa, Parker-Hannifan, Boeing, General Electric, and many others.
Our markets include energy storage, HRS (Hydrogen Refueling Stations) for FCEV, industrial hydrogen, aerospace, life support, and on-site generation for laboratory instrumentation.
