- Hydrogen mobility in the air
- Hydrogen-Bike shows new ways into electro mobility
- Target: Hydrogen filling stations everywhere in Germany

Berlin, February 1, 2016

150 exhibitors from 25 countries will demonstrate their latest technologies on an area of 5.000m² at Europe’s largest hydrogen, fuel cells and battery exhibition. A focus point of the Group Exhibit will be the storage of renewable energies produced by wind and photovoltaic.

Hydrogen mobility in the air
The German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt, DLR), Stuttgart develops the worldwide first four-seater passenger aircraft HY4, that is powered solely by a hydrogen fuel cell battery system. The cruising speed is 145km/h, while the range is approximately 1.000km. This aircraft shows the feasibility to fly and transport passengers with hydrogen. The first flight of the HY4 is planned for summer 2016. A model of HY4 will be shown at the booth of the DLR, D68.

Hydrogen-Bike shows new ways into electro mobility
The Linde Group, München, B71 shows a pedelec (bicycle with supporting electro motor) powered by a fuel cell. The fuel cell replaces a battery and uses hydrogen to produce additional power in order to support the driver. The drive system enables a range of 100 kilometers, only with the maximum of 34 gram stored hydrogen. The refueling of the hydrogen cylinder only takes about 5min.

Target: Hydrogen filling stations everywhere in Germany
For the first time H2 Mobility Deutschland, Berlin, a joint venture between six industrial partners, is part of the Group Exhibit, B56. The H2 Mobility action plan envisages a set-up of 100 hydrogen filling stations over the next few years and a Germany-wide network of hydrogen stations by 2023.

Fuel cell vehicles and hydrogen fueling on site
On a 15.000m² Ride + Drive outdoor area interested visitors can test drive fuel cell vehicles of the companies Daimler, Toyota and Hyundai. The vehicles will be fueled on site daily (11:00, 14:00, 17:00) at the mobile hydrogen filling station of Linde.

Information on-site in two forums
Visitors have the possibility to inform themselves on-site in two forum areas within the Group Exhibit in hall 27, at the Public (C 66) and the Technical Forum (B 38). The moderated interviews and presentations will additionally be live streamed online and will also be available after the show on our website h2fc-fair.com.
